Capital Extension Acquires Long Island Crane & Rigging

Last month, Capital Extension, a heavy equipment holding company, announced the acquisition of Long Island Crane & Rigging, a commercial crane and rigging company based in Long Island, NY.
Founded in 1984, Long Island Crane has served Nassau, Suffolk, and nearby counties for thirty years. The company has focused on the modular home industry but also offers services related to the transportation and rigging of commercial HVAC units, generators, trees, telecommunication towers, structural steel, and more.
"We are excited to further cement our footprint in the northeast, especially in the New York area. Long Island Crane has a long history of providing customers exceptional service during its three decades of business. They are a welcome addition to the Capital Extension family of brands," says Garland Robeson, President of Capital Extension.
Long Island Crane's current management will remain in place to manage the company and continue to support its clients. Capital Extension's funding and resources will help ensure the growth of this family-run business.
