NASHVILLE, TN – May 13, 2025 — Clark Crane, a leading provider of heavy lifting and crane services across the Southeast, announced last week the promotion of Ty Mintern to the role of President. Ty previously served Clark Crane in a sales capacity, gaining him extensive industry knowledge and operational expertise which he’ll bring to his new leadership position.
The leadership transition follows the successful acquisition of Clark Crane by CEX Crane and Lift in November 2024. As part of the new organizational structure, company founder and former president Clark Elliot will move into the role of Chairman, continuing to lend strategic vision and guidance as the company enters a new phase of growth.
Ty Mintern began his career in the crane and heavy lift industry in Australia, where he developed a strong foundation in complex lifting operations and safety practices. His international experience and deep technical knowledge have positioned him as a respected leader within the industry and an asset to the Clark Crane team.
“I am thrilled and honored for the opportunity to lead Clark Crane into what will be a very bright and exciting future,” said Ty Mintern. “I have a tremendous respect for Clark and everything that he has built here. I am looking forward to the many opportunities that lie ahead to continue to build our business and serve our great customers.”
Clark Crane has established itself as a trusted name in the crane services industry, known for its safety-first approach, best-in-class equipment, and unwavering dedication to customer success. Under Ty’s leadership, the company is poised to expand its capabilities, strengthen customer relationships, and pursue new market opportunities.
“We are excited to see Ty step into this leadership role,” said Garland Robeson, CEO of CEX Crane and Lift “His deep knowledge of the industry, hands-on experience, and passion for serving our customers make him the ideal leader to take Clark Crane into its next chapter.”
